Attributions:

• The Recreational Boat Skipper (P.E.R.) qualification enables you to operate recreational vessels up to 15 meters in length and for coastal navigation up to a maximum distance of 12 miles from the coast. This nautical qualification permits day and night navigation. Furthermore, holding the Recreational Boat Skipper qualification allows you to operate any type of personal watercraft.

Requirements to obtain the P.E.R.:
To obtain the PER in Malaga, no prior qualification is required. You must be over 18 years old and pass a medical examination. Additionally, you must meet the following requirements:

• Pass the corresponding theoretical exam.
• Complete 16 hours of basic safety and navigation practical training.
• Complete a 12-hour practical short-range radio operator course.

Online Course includes exam registration management with the administration.

Optional Attributions:

• Sailing Endorsement. 16-hour practical training, which qualifies you to sail vessels, is completed once and is valid for subsequent courses (PY and CY)
• Extension to 24 meters and Offshore Navigation. If you wish to enable this qualification for operating vessels up to 24 meters and for offshore navigation between the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, you must complete an additional 24 hours of navigation practical training, in addition to the mandatory basic practical training.

Students who take the PER exam and do not pass, but have passed the common subjects with the PNB, will have the PNB recognized as passed.
