Clarifications for the Return to Nautical Activity
Following the various documents issued by many associations and now specifically by ANEN, the Director General of the Merchant Marine has published the document clarifying the doubts of boaters.
In Phase 0, recreational navigation will not be permitted, except for individual sports purposes, and visits to vessels by their owners for safety checks and maintenance are also authorized, provided these are located in the same municipality as the owner’s residence.
In Phase I, recreational navigation may be carried out considering its classification as active tourism, personal limitations must be respected and disinfection measures adopted, with geographical restrictions.
In Phase II, recreational navigation may be carried out with larger groups of people. Owners of vessels moored in a different municipality, but in the same province, will be able to make visits for safety checks and maintenance. There will still be limitations on navigation between provinces or islands.
In Phase III, recreational nautical activities are authorized without limitations.
