Course structure
Theory
Students will have full access to an e-learning platform where they will find all course materials, from notes and slides used in classes to self-assessment questionnaires for each study module to check progress in understanding the syllabus.
Classes are conducted in telepresence mode, where each student can interact with the instructor and the rest of the class through a virtual classroom system with audio and video access.
These classes are recorded and made available to students on the e-learning platform for viewing at any time.
Practical training
Mandatory safety and navigation practical training, 48 hours of navigation where much of the knowledge gained in theoretical classes is developed on-site, as well as the use of electronic instruments and completion of navigation watches.
This practical training will be carried out aboard a Lagoon 38 catamaran with 11.55m length and 4 cabins, making the practice even more comfortable.
Night navigation will be conducted, organising watch shifts, and the contents of the Yacht Master course will be reviewed.
The price of the 48-hour navigation practical training is €480.
