Description

Basic Qualifications:

The Yacht Skipper license enables the operation of recreational vessels up to 24 metres in length and navigation at a maximum distance of 150 miles from the coast, as well as any type of jet ski.

Hold a Pleasure Craft Skipper (PER) license
A minimum age of 18 is required.
Passing the official theoretical exam.
Hold the Short Range Radio Operator (OCA) certificate
Completion of 48h Basic Safety and Navigation Practical Training.

Management of exam registration with the administration.
Material.
In-person training.
Mandatory 48h Navigation and Safety practicals.

Sailing Endorsement. 16-hour practical training session that enables sailing on sailing vessels; it is completed only once and remains valid for subsequent courses.
Short Range Operator. 12-hour radio practical training. If your PER license predates the new Royal Decree, you must complete this course.
