TYPE A PERSONAL WATERCRAFT SKIPPER

The FIRST call for 2019 to take the theoretical exam for the Type A Personal Watercraft Skipper license will be held on April 6.

WHAT DOES THE PERSONAL WATERCRAFT EXAM INVOLVE?

The Type A Personal Watercraft exam is quite manageable and consists of 30 multiple-choice questions with 4 possible answers, only one of which is correct.

We can have a maximum of 9 errors, and we will have 60 minutes to complete it, which is sufficient time.

Remember that, in addition to passing this exam, we need to complete a mandatory 3-hour practical session on the personal watercraft.

WHAT DOES THE TYPE A PERSONAL WATERCRAFT LICENSE QUALIFY US FOR?

Once we hold the license, we will be able to operate personal watercraft with a power equal to or greater than 110 hp and navigate up to 2 nautical miles from the coast.
