Requirements for obtaining the navigation license in Malaga:

Be at least 18 years old, or 16 years old with parental or guardian consent.
Attend the theoretical and practical course at an authorized Nautical School.
Exempt from examination; however, qualification is subject to the successful completion of the taught class hours.
Accreditation of psychophysical fitness for operating recreational craft, issued by a Driver Recognition Centre.
Certificate issued by the nautical school itself.

Course characteristics:

Taught in a single day, with a duration of 6 hours (2 hours of theory and 4 hours of practical training).
Flexible dates and times, adjusted to students’ needs, with a minimum quota of 5 students per group.

Validation of old Titulín:

If you hold the old “Federative Authorization” (Titulín), you can exchange it for the new Navigation License by completing 4 hours of practical training. You will no longer have engine power limitations on jet skis and boats according to the manufacturer; additionally, the new License does not expire.
