This tax only applies when the transaction occurs between private individuals. The ITP is not settled when the seller is a company, even if the company does not engage in nautical activities. The standard forms are 620, 621, or 600 if the generic form is chosen. Form 600 is typical in non-coastal autonomous communities. However, knowing the specific form is not necessary. Many autonomous communities have programs that allow for form preparation, filing, and payment.    <\/p>\n<p>The deadline for paying the tax depends on the autonomous community; however, the general criterion is that the tax must be filed and paid within <strong>30 days<\/strong> following the contract signing.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Is_the_Property_Transfer_Tax_Calculated\"><\/span>How Is the Property Transfer Tax Calculated?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Basically, the property transfer tax (ITP) is settled on the amount agreed in the sale and appearing in the recreational boat&#8217;s sales contract. However, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agenciatributaria.es\/AEAT.internet\/Inicio\/La_Agencia_Tributaria\/Campanas\/Impuesto_Especial_sobre_Determinados_Medios_de_Transporte\/Y_tambien_le_puede_interesar\/Precios_medios_de_vehiculos_usados\/Precios_medios_de_vehiculos_usados.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Ministerio de Hacienda (opens in a new tab)\">Ministry of Finance<\/a> publishes an annual valuation of recreational boats in the Official State Gazette (BOE), known as the &#8220;Treasury tables.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>If the boat appears in the &#8220;Treasury tables,&#8221; the <strong>table value can be settled<\/strong>. Our recommendation is to file the ITP form through a tax or accounting firm. <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Boat_ITP_by_Autonomous_Community\"><\/span>Boat ITP by Autonomous Community<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The <em>transfer tax<\/em> applied to <strong>boat sales<\/strong> is the responsibility of each autonomous community.
